Getting Started

For Tea Growers

  1. Register Your Account: Visit app.chaitrack.in/register/grower and fill in your personal details
  2. Select Your Area: Choose your PIN code, district, and area
  3. Choose Collectors: Select one or more collectors you wish to register under
  4. Complete Payment: Pay the annual registration fee (per collector)
  5. Access Your Dashboard: Log in to view your collection history, payments, and reports

For Leaf Collectors

  1. Contact Administrator: Collector accounts are created by the system administrator
  2. Complete Registration: Pay the annual collector registration fee
  3. Manage Growers: View and manage growers registered under you
  4. Record Collections: Enter daily leaf collection data for each grower
  5. Track Deposits: Record factory deposits with quality categorization

Registration & Account

Q: How much does registration cost?

A: Registration fees are set by the system administrator. Growers pay an annual fee for each collector they register under. Contact your local collector or administrator for current pricing.

Q: Can I register under multiple collectors?

A: Yes, you can register under multiple collectors. You will need to pay the registration fee separately for each collector association.

Q: What happens when my subscription expires?

A: You will receive reminders before expiration. After expiry, your account may be set to read-only mode until you renew. Your historical data remains preserved.

Q: I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

A: Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and follow the instructions sent to your registered phone number or email.

Collection & Deposits

Q: How are leaf collections recorded?

A: Your collector records the weight and bag details at the time of collection. You can view these entries in your dashboard.

Q: What is quality categorization?

A: Factories assess the quality of tea leaves and assign them to different price categories (typically 4 grades). Each grade has a different price per kilogram.

Q: Can I see which of my bags got which quality rating?

A: Yes, the factory deposit record shows each bag's quality category and the corresponding price rate.

Payments & Advances

Q: How are payments calculated?

A: Payments are calculated based on the total weight of your leaves multiplied by the quality-based price rate for each category, minus any advances or deductions.

Q: How do I request an advance payment?

A: Submit an advance request through the platform. Your collector must approve it for the advance to be recorded against your account.

Q: Where can I see my payment history?

A: Your dashboard shows a complete payment history including dates, amounts, and adjustments.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

I can't log in to my account

  • Verify you're using the correct username/phone number
  • Try resetting your password
  • Ensure your subscription is active
  • Clear your browser cache and try again

I see incorrect data in my collection records

  • Contact your collector immediately to verify and correct entries
  • Note the date and specific discrepancy
  • Report to customer support if not resolved

The app is loading slowly

  • Check your internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Use the mobile app in areas with weak connectivity
